October 25, 2007: Ditto the message from October 12, 2006! Updated Author's Journal, and brought our Special Message up to date. We sincerely hope you like our new "sassy" attitude. We have no intention of letting the bad guys win.

October 12, 2006: Gulp, it's almost been a year! Updated Author's Journal, and completely revamped look and feel of Web site. Also brought our Special Message up to date. Ambiance around these parts is more upbeat, which we tried to reflect in our "cornucopia of life" update to the main page.

November 7, 2005: Updated Author's Journal ~ including super-short "review" of the new book of Sophie Scholl/Fritz Hartnagel letters.

July 13, 2005: Another mega-update to Author's Journal. Feast or famine, you know? Also added an essay (inspired by the writing of the journal entry) entitled "Papal Infallibility."

April 27, 2005: Yea! Another update to Author's Journal and "Special Message." Note that Volume II of my White Rose History is now shipping. You can order it online from the publisher. Note that email addresses have changed. The old ones will be retired in about thirty days. This is part of our battle against spam.

July 5, 2004: All right! I think I am finally caught up post-op! Author's journal done to June 30. Special Message updated too.

January 11, 2004: Uploaded "journal entries" for the last half of 2003 and for January 8, 2004. Also "Special Message".

January 8, 2003: Announcement of COMMON GROUND forum at Center for White Rose Studies. Another major push to update journal entries.

November 20, 2002: Finally uploaded "journal entries" since March!

April 16, 2002: Upgraded Web hosting to Microsoft. Another one of those little things that means a lot. No fun when so much time was being spent talking to techies at the previous host, where this site was down more than it was up.

March 25, 2002: Exclamation! Publishers now has an online store ~ and they accept VISA and MasterCard! That means I get to delete all the ordering information from my site, and let them handle it. Progress sometimes takes the form of the mundane.

November 1, 2001: Added translation of Paul Spiegel's speech in Berlin on November 9, 2000.

August 17, 2001: Added my new creative writing book to information.
